Notification for Attorneys
Purpose: To ensure attorney-client privileged communication is not recorded on the inmate telephone system.
All new attorneys and/or attorneys with updated telephone numbers after June 1st, 2018,
need to contact the Southwest Virginia Jail Authority Administration via Praeses, LLC in order
to have their numbers verified and added as not-recorded in the Southwest Virginia Regional
Jail Authority inmate telephone system. Please call and/or email Erin Fraser with Praeses, LLC
the attorney name and telephone number at the following:

Only verified attorney telephone numbers will be added to the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail
inmate telephone system as “privileged” to ensure calls are not recorded.
